FORM
PERFORMANCE DECLARATION
Each performance declaration must be completed and approved one week prior to the vehicle's first participation. A one-week deadline will apply for series approval of modifications to the vehicle that impact the performance declaration. A dynamometer document must be provided to support the information included in your performance declaration. The dynamometer calibration must be done in accordance with SAE J1349 standards, and the technician must include maximum power and torque at the wheels, along with revolutions and boost pressure for forced induction cars. In the event that there are concerns about your performance declaration or dynamometer document, the SPC may request that a new dynamometer test be completed at your expense, using the SPC's choice of dynamometer. The wheel size you declare must remain the same for the entire season. This can only be changed if approved by the series technical chief. The crew chief is the person responsible for matters related to the performance declaration and will be the primary contact for the SPC technical official. The crew chief may be the car driver.
